Vickey Lundstrom, age 72, of Baltic, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 23, 2021, near Baltic. Public memorial service will begin at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Baltic Lutheran Church, Baltic, SD. The church requires masks. The service will be live streamed at the Minnehaha Funeral Home & Cremation Services Facebook page. Memorials may be directed to the Baltic Lutheran Church.

Vickey D. Lundstrom was born on February 14, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to Clarence & Minnie (Lyons) Allen. She grew up in Kentucky and then moved around the country living in places such as Florida and Oklahoma. In 1977 she moved to Rapid City and remained in South Dakota the rest of her life. She was proud of her work in and with the South Dakota Adult Illiteracy Council and completing her GED in her 50’s.

Vickey was a member of Baltic Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also volunteered at the Baltic School and loved attending sporting events to support the kids she loved.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Ron Skancke; sons: Dave Hodgin and Don Hodgin; daughters: Tammy Hodgin, Helen Hankins, and Alexis Lundstrom; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; sisters, Sue (Harold) Stark; brothers: Billy (Dona) Allen and David (Gerrie) Allen; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and granddaughter, Kara Hodgin.
