Shaunda Marie Frankman

Shaunda Marie Frankman, age 38, of Garretson, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Memorial visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Monday, May 20, 2019, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Garretson. Private interment will be held on Tuesday in the Colman Cemetery.
Shaunda was born on January 29, 1981 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She grew up in Sioux Falls before moving to White, South Dakota at an early age. She attended Deubrook Schools where she graduated in 1999. She lived in Sioux Falls and Joplin, Missouri before finally settling in Garretson. While in Garretson, she worked at the Garretson Food Center, and Farmers Plant Food.
Shaunda enjoyed watching Saturday Night Live and listening to 80’s and early 90’s grunge music. Shaunda had a hilarious personality full of sass and had an act for making people laugh so hard their stomach hurt. Shaunda had a beautiful soul and she loved her family. The biggest love of her life was her two daughters, Julia and Sophia.
Shaunda is survived by her daughters, Julia and Sophia Mosley, Garretson; mother, Susan Brown, Garretson; one brother Styles (Ashley) Brown, White and their children Kaylee, Braxton, Brantley, and Carson; one sister Emily Brown, White; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Ryder Lee Mosley; and her grandparents, Jim and June Rose Montis.
