Ronald D. Schumacher, 89, of Sioux Falls died Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the Sanford Ava’s House.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 30, 2019 at Peace Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls.
Ronald Donald Schumacher was born December 26, 1929 at Tripp, South Dakota to parents August and Mary Schumacher. He grew up in Tripp and attended school there.
Ronald married Patricia Isakson May 26, 1979 at First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.
He cleaned two laundromats and Hasenstein Steel before working in the maintenance department at the University of Sioux Falls for 20 years. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls.
Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Patricia of Sioux Falls; son, Brian Schumacher of Owatonna, MN; daughter, Linda Schumacher of Owatonna, MN; and daughter Belinda Schumacher of Sioux Falls; sister, Millie Aagne of Minneapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Elsie Parson, Edna Neumayr, Lawrence Schumacher, Louise Schumacher, Lillian Deuschle, Elvin Schumacher and Vivian Buckles.
