Nolan Leroy Qualseth, age 77, of Colton, died on Monday, May 7, 2018, at Yankton, South Dakota. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM Monday, May 14, 2018, at First Lutheran Church, Colton. Visitation will be from 3-5:00 PM Sunday, at the Minnehaha Funeral Chapel, Colton.
Nolan was born on March 30, 1941, at Colton, to Arnold and Annette (Sieler) Qualseth. Nolan enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, watching baseball, and trips with his family.
Surviving Nolan are his sisters: Leona “Dolly” Kittelson and Arla Sundal, both of Colton, Arlene Hinz, Baltic, Susan (Keith) Merry, Dell Rapids; brothers: George (Dorothy) Qualseth, Northfield, Minnesota, Curtis (Pat) Qualseth and David (Deb) Qualseth, both of Baltic, and Ron (Lois) Qualseth, Sioux Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Nolan was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruth Ann; niece, Raeann; brothers-in-law, Arie Busser, Russell “Bud” Sundal, Don Hinz, and Harvey Kittelson.
