Lynn L. Peterson

Lynn Peterson, age 74, passed away unexpectedly at his home February 27, 2019.

Memorial services to remember his life will be held in the spring.

Lynn was born to his parents, Henning and Marjorie (Swenson) Peterson on December 18, 1944. He grew up on a farm outside of Corson, South Dakota with his three brothers, Larry, Dean, Dale and sister Marsha. He loved spending time at the farm helping his brothers with farming or working on equipment. He also enjoyed working on his yard where he was able to grow the most beautiful yard with the greenest grass.

Lynn also loved with his heart his grandsons and great-nephew, Dawson Gage, Christian Norton and Bechkham Higgins.

Lynn will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Colleen Higgins Peterson, Sioux Falls; daughters, Shawn Peterson, Sioux Falls, Tammie (David) Norton, Black Canyon City, AZ and Nikki (Brad) Gage, Cedar Rapids, IA; brothers, Larry Peterson, Dean (Jeannie) Peterson and Dale Peterson, all from Brandon SD; sister, Marsha Bonte, Garretson SD; sister-in-law, Kris Higgings, Sioux Falls and five nephews and their families.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Henning and Marjorie and in-laws, Millie and Kenny Higgins.
