Lowell Larson, 91, of Madison, SD passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 AM Friday, March 2, 2018 at St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church, rural Colton, SD.
Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Minnehaha Funeral Chapel in Colton, SD.
Lowell was born March 30, 1926 at Colton, SD to parents Herman and Oleva (Olson) Larson. He attended school in Colton before moving to the Franklin area. Lowell married Dolores “Dee” McMahill on January 15, 1960 in Luverne, MN. He farmed his entire life and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Dee; son, Dean Larson, Sioux Falls; daughter, Linda (Jay) Mertens, Rio Rancho, NM; three grandsons, Adam, Tyler and Cody; two granddaughters, Laura and Breanna; three great-grandchildren and sister, Sharol (George) Bargmann. Lowell was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gale and sister, Betty.
