Logan B Waldner

Logan Bennett Waldner was born on June 17 ^th , 1997, in Sioux Falls, to John and Rhoda Waldner. He graduated from Dell Rapids High School in 2015. After high school, Logan began working for his father’s construction company. He was talented, hard-working, and became valuable very quickly.

Logan is fondly remembered for his friendly, bubbly personality and ability to cheer anyone up in a matter of seconds. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers and his friends and was rarely seen without his four-legged best friend, Diva, his pride and joy. Logan was always ready to go golfing and enjoyed gaming online and singing.  He had talent and passion for carpentry and woodworking. Logan loved to help his mom cook, clean, and do laundry – his mom lovingly refers to him as her “teddy bear.” They spent many football Sundays together watching the Cowboys. Logan was a loving uncle and doted on his nephew for the few short months they had together.

Logan passed away as a result of a construction accident on December 9 ^th , 2020, in Bancroft, SD, at the age of 23. He was a believer and accepted Christ at a young age.

He is survived by his parents, John and Rhoda; his grandparents, David Tschetter and Pete and Susie Waldner; his brothers Stephen (Lenora), Dylan (Madison), and Landon; his nephew, Kanaan; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Emma Tschetter, and his uncles, Samuel Tschetter, Bennet Tschetter, and Joel Waldner.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Reformed Church in Dell Rapids. Burial will be in the Dell Rapids Cemetery following the service. Service will be live streamed on the Minnehaha Funeral Home & Cremation Services Facebook Page. Visitation will be from 5-8:00PM at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Dell Rapids, with a time of sharing to begin at 7:00PM.  Masks are strongly encouraged.
