Leonard Dressen

Leonard Dressen, 90 years old, from Dell Rapids passed away. A party for his 90 ^th birthday was held in March. Leonard was surrounded by over 130 friends and family. As he reflected on that event he said, “I was lucky to have been able to visit, enjoy a great meal, shake hands, and receive hugs. Funerals are a party where the guest of honor isn’t physically there. I got to have a “living” funeral with joy and laughter!”

Leonard wished to thank all those who called, sent cards, or attended his birthday/life celebration. A private celebration of Leonard’s journey was held recently as per his wishes. Three of his favorite charities are: St Mary Catholic School 812 State Ave, Dell Rapids; Dell Rapids Historical Museum 407 E 4 ^th St, Dell Rapids, SD; and Willow Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, 24795 470 ^th Ave, Dell Rapids, SD.
