Lee Peterson, 75, of Baltic passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at her home.
Funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM Monday, August 27, 2018 at East Nidaros Lutheran Church, rural Baltic. Visitation will be from 2-4:00 PM Sunday at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Baltic. Burial will be in the East Nidaros Cemetery.
Virginia Lee Peterson was born July 1, 1943 in Sioux Falls to parents Harold and Virginia (Helberg) Angle. She grew up in Sioux Falls and graduated from Washington High School. She then received her B.A. degree from Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma in 1965. She worked as a frame attendant for Qwest Communications for 34 years, retiring in 2001.
Lee married Roger Peterson, July 25, 1970 in Port Byron, Illinois. They lived in Cordova, Illinois until moving to Baltic in 1986.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Roger, Baltic; sons, Robert(Suzie) Peterson, Brighton, CO; Russell Peterson, Florida; grandchildren, Michael (Melissa) Peterson, Amy Wehde and David (Alyssa)Peterson, all of Baltic; Lisa Peterson, Longmont, CO; great grandchildren, Anna Peterson, Blake Peterson, Payton Peterson, Garrett Peterson, Cody Schultz, Zachary Peterson, Jordynlynn Wehde, Skylar Wehde, Kendrick Wehde and a cousin, Donna (George) Nagel, Perham, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
