Janet Clark, age 81, of Dell Rapids, SD, died Monday, April 22, 2024, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 AM on Friday, April 26, 2024, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Dell Rapids, SD with Fr. Shane Stevens celebrating. Burial will follow at the Dell Rapids Cemetery in Dell Rapids.
A time of visitation will take place at the church from 9:30 AM to the time of service at 10:30.
Janet Clark was born July 31, 1942, in Dell Rapids, SD to Sam and Fern (Richardson) LeBrun. She was raised Dell Rapids and attended St. Mary’s Catholic School graduating in 1960.
She attended school for Lab Technician in Minneapolis, MN for one year. She got married and lived on a farm raising two children. She was a bookkeeper for Keystone, Minerva’s and Assam Drug. In the 1990’s she became owner and manager of a hotel/motel in Sioux Falls until her retirement.
She loved to travel, spending time with family and friends. She belonged to the Social Singles in Sioux Falls.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Danette Clark of Dell Rapids, SD; son, Scott (Julie) Clark of Early, IA; grandson, Caleb Clark of Colton, SD; granddaughter, Hailey (Brock) Baade of Pinehurst, NC; grandson, Heath (Loghan) Clark and their daughter Hattie, all of Sioux Falls, SD; and granddaughter, Hope Clark of Early, IA; nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Fern LeBrun.
