James Alan Robinson

James A. Robinson, age 71, of Baltic, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024, at his home. A private family interment will be held at the South Dakota State Veteran’s Cemetery near Sioux Falls.

James was born on December 4, 1952, to Eldon and Alice (Wheelhouse) Robinson. He grew up in the Tea/Harrisburg area. He entered the Unites States Army in 1973. After nearly three years of service, he was honorably discharged and continued to serve in the Army National Guard. On June 20, 1980, he married Rosemary “Rose” Yunker. They settled in Baltic in 1982. Jim worked at the Sioux Falls VA Hospital for 15 years in several departments. Following his retirement, he bought and sold collectibles. He enjoyed restoring cars and motorcycles, collecting bicycles, and attending threshing shows. He was a member of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America and the Cushman Club.

Jim is survived by his wife, Rose, of Baltic; son, Heath, of Huron, daughter, April, of Sioux City, brother, Denny (Helen) Robinson, of Harrisburg, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Robert and Diane.
