Homer W Hollinhead

Homer William Hollinhead, 87, of Palisade Healthcare Center in Garretson, SD went to join his ancestors serving the Lord on Tuesday, November 14th. Interment with military honors will begin at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at the South Dakota Veteran’s Cemetery in Sioux Falls, SD. Born in Clearview, Florida on June 19th, 1936, Homer was one of 8 children. He joined the United States Air Force in 1954. He served his country as a Special Weapons Mechanic for more than 20 years. He and his wife, Myrna, were deployed all over the United States and eventual to Europe where he served in West Germany, Belgium, and Turkey. Their three girls Jamie, Julie, and Jennifer were international travelers. Homer’s wife passed in 1998. He is survived by his daughters and his many friends at Palisade Healthcare.
