Frank Jarrod Hayne

Frank Jarrod Hayne, age 48, of Alexandria, SD, died Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD.

Memorial service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, November 26, 2022 at St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church, rural Colton, SD.

Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

Jarrod Hayne, was born on November 29, 1973, in Sioux Falls, SD to Frank “Larry” Hayne and JoAnn (Lewis) Hayne.

Jarrod was a fierce protector of his family and friends. He was fearless about basically everything he approached. One of his many passions was motorcycles. He was an avid motorcyclist and gained many friendships. Jarrod was very quick witted and usually opened conversations with a joke of some kind. That would que up his infectious laugh making most situations easy to deal with. Jarrod could fix almost anything. If it was mechanical, he could fix it. He used these skills throughout his professional career. He also bred dogs. It is no doubt that the puppies from those efforts have brought and continue to bring lots of joy to their lucky owners. That journey was founded in his love for hunting with his own dogs. Jarrod carried these passions with him to his last day.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Keegan Hayne, Manchester IA; sister, Becky Hayne, Sioux Falls; brothers, Matt Hayne, Denver, CO and Alex Feiock, Sioux Falls; Sister-in-law, Tonya Hayne, Parker, CO; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.

Jarrod was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnn Feiock; his grandparents, Ernie and Arlene Lewis; grandmother, Catherine Schriver; and grandfather, Frank Hayne.
