Dermer Stephen Chadwell, 71 of Sioux Falls formerly of Minot, North Dakota died Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the University of Minnesota Hospital.

Dermer was born January 10, 1949 in Steubenville, Ohio to parents Dean and Mildred (Vukas) Chadwell.
He grew up in Wellsburg, West Virginia where he graduated from high school. After his education he joined the United States Air Force in 1967 and served during the Vietnam Conflict. In 1986 he married Kathy Crowe in Minot, North Dakota.
After his discharge he managed Schneider-Alberts in Watertown, South Dakota and then Don Bessette Motors in Minot. In 2019 he moved to Sioux Falls be close to his family.
He enjoyed gardening, playing golf, hunting, and fishing with his family and friends.
Grateful for having shared his life are his son Mike (Lisa) Chadwell, Sioux Falls; grandchildren, Hannah, Tyler and Cole; a brother, Dean (Patty) Chadwell, Alcester; sisters, Juanita Mccombs, Wellsburg, West Virginia and Margie (Harold) Flouhouse, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Dean; sister Loretta and nephew, Robert Chadwell
