Billy Allen Banks, age 64, of Custer, South Dakota, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Palisade Healthcare Center in Garretson, SD.
Billy was a kind and caring man, known for his love of nature, fishing, and working on cars. He embraced life with a spirit of adventure, always finding joy in getting his hands dirty and exploring the world around him. His greatest pride and joy were his three children, Jane, Jessica, and Chris, whom he loved deeply and spoke about often.
Billy’s generosity and down-to-earth nature touched the lives of everyone he met. Whether he was casting a line into the water or fixing up an old vehicle, he found happiness in the simple pleasures of life.
He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. But now he is free from pain, and is reunited with his mother.
