Betty Logan, 76, of Sioux Falls died Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Luther Manor.
Betty was born August 22, 1943 to Arthur and Selina (Hegge) Mathisen. She grew up in the Baltic area and graduated from Tri Valley High School.
Betty married Herbert Mager Jr. and they had two daughters, Linda and Brenda. They later divorced.
Betty worked at McKennan Hospital in the housekeeping department for many years and at a local hotel. Later she worked in the kitchen at Southridge Nursing Home until her retirement.
She was a former member of Willow Creek Lutheran Church.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Linda (Mike) Siegenthaler and Brenda Mager, both of Sioux Falls; seven grandchildren, Emily Ruby, Amanda (Dan) Wheeler, Allison (Cole) Stienblock, Ashley Mager, Cory Mager, Heather Mager, and McKayla Mager; great grandchildren, Ada, Elise, and Gavin Ruby; Kira and Zoey Wheeler, Emma Stienblock, Rosemary, T.J., and Ava; a sister Beverly Jorgenson, Rapid City and a brother in law, Elmer Haugen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Janet Haugen.
Visitation will be from 5-7:00 Monday, November 4, 2019 at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Baltic. Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the Willow Creek Lutheran Cemetery, rural Dell Rapids.
