Amy Falk, 95, of Sioux Falls formerly of Sherman passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at Avera Prince of Peace.

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 AM Monday, April 15, 2019 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls.  Visitation will begin one hour before the service at the church.  Burial will be in the Maplewood Cemetery, Luverne, Minnesota.

Amy was born October 1, 1923 on a farm near Hardwick, Minnesota to parents Henry and Melissa Bock.  She grew up in the Hardwick area and attended school in Pipestone.

Amy married Lloyd Robert Falk January 22, 1942 at Pipestone, Minnesota.  They lived and farmed near Sherman for 33 years, where they raised their two sons Lyle and Larry.  She later worked as an aid at Palisade Manor for sixteen years.  She later moved to Sioux Falls, where she was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.  She was also a volunteer for Stephan Ministry and volunteered over 2000 hours for hospice.

Before moving to Sioux Falls she was a long time member of First Lutheran Church in Sherman, where she was active in the ladies aid.

Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Larry (Susan) Falk, grandchildren, Tonia (Jay) Hackett, Michael Falk, Daniel (Andrea) Falk, Robert “Rob” Falk, and Peter “Pete” Falk, great grandchildren, Sierra Falk, Charlie, Audrey, and Calvin Hackett, and Charlotte Falk.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, her son, Lyle, her siblings, Phyllis Johnson, Shirley Culver, Donna Mae Bartimo, and Warren “Bud” Bock.
