Florence Winter Rommereim, 90, of Dell Rapids passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at Minnehaha Funeral Home Chapel in Dell Rapids. Burial will be in Romsdal Cemetery, rural Beresford. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
Florence Bendt Winter Rommereim was born September 17, 1917 in Trosky, Minnesota to parents Ernest and Minnie (Harloff) Bendt.
Florence was married to Henry Winter on September 9, 1936. He passed away July 22, 1941 as the result of an automobile accident.
Florence then met Richard Rommereim. They were married on January 1, 1945. He passed away March 31, 1980.
Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Delmar Winter and Maggie, Mesa, AZ; Dian and her husband Jerry Loof, Sunset, UT; Roger Rommereim and his wife, DeAnn, Lancaster, CA; Ardell Breen, Ventura, CA; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
