Neniveh Johnson

Neniveh “Nin” Johnson, 92, of Dell Rapids died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Terrace Manor in Dell Rapids.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Friday, August 7, 2009 at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Dell Rapids. Visitation will be from 2-5:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Dell Rapids Cemetery.

Neniveh “Nin” was born July 26, 1917 at Dell Rapids to parents Edward and Tilda (Hill) Johnson. She grew up in Dell Rapids and graduated from Dell Rapids High School. She then attended Nettleton Business College in Sioux Falls. She was employed at the Minnehaha County Clerk of Courts for 25 years.

Survivors include a sister, Marlene (Wayne) Peckham, White Bear Lake, MN; a sister in law, Genevieve Johnson, Florida; a brother in law, Gene Froseth, Garretson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Edward and Glen and two sisters, Alma “Tupp” Weelborg and Naomi Froseth.
