Pamela A. Ascheman

Pamela A. Ascheman, 37, of Hartford died Friday, May 30, 2008 at her home under hospice care, surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM Monday, June 2, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church, rural Hartford. Visitation with the family present will be from 3-7:00 PM Sunday at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Colton.

Pamela was born July 4, 1970 to Everett and Karen (Schneekloth) Ascheman at Jackson, Minnesota. She grew up in Jackson and graduated from Jackson High School in 1988. She then attended Austin Technical Institute. She had worked for Graco, Inc. from 2002 until ill health forced her retirement

Pamela entered into union with her life partner Vickie Johnson on September 8, 2001. They have made their home in Hartford. She enjoyed woodworking, motorcycle riding camping, and spending time with family and friends. She loved spending time with her four-legged friends, Sadie, Sid, and Mia. She and Vickie attended the Central Valley Community Church in Hartford.

Grateful for having shared her life are her life partner, Vickie Johnson, Hartford, her parents, Everett and Karen Ascheman, Jackson, MN; a brother, Dale (Brenda) Ascheman, Alpha, MN; two sisters, Paula (Mike) Ewert, Hartford, SD; Patricia (Shane) Helmich, Ruthven, IA; three nieces, Angela Ewert, Anna Ascheman, and Erin Helmich and many other relatives and friends.
