Daniel Raymond Schoeberl

Daniel R. Schoeberl, 51, of Sioux Falls, formerly from Chester, passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, November 5, 2008.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM Monday, November 10, 2008 at Minnehaha Funeral Home Chapel in Dell Rapids. Burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, rural Montrose, South Dakota.

Visitation with the family present will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday, November 9, 2008 at the funeral home.

Daniel was born May 3, 1957 in Sioux Falls to Michael and Lillian (Larsen) Schoeberl. He spent his grade school years in the Montrose area. He later moved with his family to the Chester area where he attended high school. Daniel proudly served in the US Army from 1974 to 1976.

Daniel married Dawn Ericksen in 1977. Daniel farmed in the Chester-Colton area. He resided in Sioux Falls the last ten years where he was employed by Roadfeldt Construction.

Daniel enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing cards and liked to hunt.

Grateful for having shared his life are his children, Scott (Andrea) Schoeberl, Dell Rapids, Raymond Schoeberl, Dell Rapids, and Lisa (Greg) Weinacht, Dell Rapids; special friend, Patricia Alexander, Sioux Falls; brothers and sisters, Michelle (Terry) Goodale, Chester, Joe (DeAnn) Schoeberl, Chester, Nick (Lorene) Schoeberl, Dell Rapids, Charles Schoeberl, Sioux Falls, and Richard (AJ) Schoeberl, Chester; three grandchildren, Jenae, Jessica, and Teri; and many other relatives and friends.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Teri Lynn.
