Allen A. Heyd

Allen A. Heyd, 62, of Crooks formerly of Aberdeen went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2007 at Sanford Health after a brief battle with cancer. Memorial services will be at 7:00 P.M. Monday, June 4, 2007 at West Nidaros Lutheran Church, rural Crooks. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1:30 P.M. Friday, June 8, 2007 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Aberdeen. Visitation will be from 1-7:00 P.M. Thursday at the Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, Aberdeen.

Survivors include his wife Gwen, Crooks; a daughter, Janelle Leuning, Crooks and her fiancé Randy Hindbjorgen; two grandsons, Landon & Austin Leuning; a sister, Mavis (Jim Wilborn) Bernard, Billings, MT; his father and mother in law, Bill and Olive Ryman, Mobridge, SD and many other relatives and friends. Minnehaha Funeral Home, Baltic is in charge of local arrangements.
