Lawrence “Larry” Phipps, 59, of Sioux Falls died Thursday, January 3, 2007 at Dougherty House Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls.

Larry was born October 2, 1948 at St. Joseph, Missouri to parents Peter and Clemabelle Phipps. He grew up in St. Joseph and received his education there. He moved to Sioux Falls and married Marlene March 10, 1997 in Sioux Falls. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Marlene, Sioux Falls; two daughters, Jill and Amy; his step children, Dan Steele, Renner; Dawn (Chris) Davis and Julie (Tim) Draewell, both of Sioux Falls; and four grandchildren.
