Hazel M. Reppert

Hazel M. Reppert, 90, of Sioux Falls died Monday, September 11, 2006 at Covington Heights in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 14, 2006 at West Nidaros Lutheran Church, rural Crooks. Burial will be in the West Nidaros Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Wednesday with the family present from 7-8:00 PM at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Baltic.
Hazel was born July 17, 1916 at Racine, Minnesota to parents Loren and Ruby (Andrew) Odell. She moved to Sioux Falls when she was two and attended Hawthorne Elementary and Washington High School.
On January 18, 1936 Hazel married Leo C. Reppert. They farmed in the Renner and Baltic area until February 1950 when they moved to a farm northwest of Sioux Falls.
Hazel was confirmed at West Nidaros Lutheran Church, where she was an active in many church activities. She was also a member of the Baltic Willing Hands Extension Club for 40 years.
Her hobbies were quilting, crocheting and crafts. She took pride in making many quilts for the church and friends.
She is survived by her many family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo on November 24, 1998, parents and a brother Carl.
