Selma "Sally" Anderson

Selma “Sally Anderson, 92, of Boulder, Colorado, formerly of Lyons, died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Hospice Care of Boulder County.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Benton Lutheran Church, rural Crooks. Visitation will begin one hour before services at the church.
Selma was born to parents Adolph and Alma (Moe) Carsrud on May 22, 1918 on a farm east of Colton. She grew up near and in Colton, and graduated from Colton High School. Selma married Harold Anderson of Arlington on August 27, 1939 in Colton. In 1944 they moved to Lyons and were members of Benton Lutheran Church. Harold died November 2, 1987. Selma continued to live in Lyons until moving to Colorado to be near her daughters.
Grateful for having shared her life are her daughters, Paula Boone, Parker, Colorado; Peggy Diane Anderson, Boulder, Colorado; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; and many other relatives and friends.
Sally was preceded in death by her husband, a son in law, Charles McIntosh, five brothers, and four sisters.
