Judith "Judy" Nytroe

Judith R. Nytroe, 63, of Hartford died Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Covington Heights in Sioux Falls.

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 AM Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Benton Lutheran Church, rural Crooks. Burial will be in the Benton Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.

Judith was born February 16, 1947 to parents Duane and Gertie (Schmidt) Vanderhoff in Sioux Falls. She grew up on the family farm in the Hartford-Crooks area. Judy married Richard Nytroe January 3, 1969 at Benton Lutheran Church. She worked as a beautician in the Crooks-Lyons area and in the later years helped care for her twin grandchildren, Lindsay and Kellen Tull.

Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter, Holly Tull; twin grandchildren, Lindsay and Kellen Tull; her mother, Gertie Vanderhoff, Brandon; a sister, Janet (Dale) Sample, Sioux Falls; and a brother, Don (Lynette) Vanderhoff, Sioux Falls. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, her father and a sister, Joanne.
