Arlet Sundal, 96, of Sioux Falls died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Good Samaritan Center in Sioux Falls.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Minnehaha Cemetery, rural Colton. There will be no visitation. Minnehaha Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Arlet Gullickson was born April 9, 1914 to parents Albert and Gina Gullickson at Blue Earth, Minnesota. She attended Nettleton Commerical College in Sioux Falls where she met her husband Leon Sundal. They were married July 3, 1937 in Blue Earth, Minnesota. After their marriage they moved to Dayton, Ohio, Chicago, Illinois and then moved to Blue Earth in 1946. They returned to Sioux Falls where they managed a motel until their retirement in 1972. Leon died May 30, 1996.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Joan and Milton Bondhus, Farmington, Minnesota; thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband a daughter Patricia Cook, two sisters and a brother.
