Jacob Adam Nustad was born January 22, 1998 in Rapid City, South Dakota. He lived there until around the age of 1. He moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota with his family where he lived with his mom, Alesia Nustad, brothers Joseph Michael (16) and his twin brother Jeremiah Nustad (9). Jacob also has an older brother Joshua Michael (21) from Muncy, Pennsylvania, and his father Dale Nustad of Sioux Falls. Jacob was a very courageous, caring, loving, special little boy, he was also a very funny kid, who loved to joke and make people laugh with his silly dances and crazy talk. He loved people, mostly adults. He was very active and loved the outdoors, anything to do with the outside. He liked fishing, camping, going for walks, going to the park, his favorite were the ones with ducks or just hanging out on the porch playing with his hotwheel cars. He liked bike riding on the bike trails, stopping along every park so he could play, we spent hours on the trail. He liked his video games, playing toys with his twin brother. Jacob loved to build things with legos, or just watching his movies or cartoons. He loved his cartoons and to watch animal planet. His favorite foods were spaghetti, pizza and ice cream. He enjoyed seeing old classic cars and watching monster trucks on TV. He really enjoyed hanging out with his brothers and teasing his older brother Joey. They all did everything together, they were all very close. Jacob learned sign language to help with his speech disability, this also helped towards the end when he couldn’t talk anymore. Jacob attended Jefferson Elementary in the bridges program and later switched to Lowell Elementary where he was going to enter 4th grade. He was a Make-A-Wish child and had been granted a wish to Orlando Florida to go to Disney World and all the other fun places. Jacob really enjoyed animals of all kinds, especially sea animals, his favorite were the penguins. He also loved dogs. Jacob made a lot of friends in the short time he had with us. He will be missed a lot by everyone!!! Jacob left us, Sunday, July 1, 2007 at his home with his family at his side. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents who were both taken from him one year ago. They will all be together again.
