Helen C. Danielson

Helen C. Danielson, 86, of Dell Rapids formerly of Sioux Falls died Wednesday July 1, 2009 at the Dells Area Health Center. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, July 3, 2009 at West Nidaros Lutheran Cemetery, rural Crooks. There will be no visitation. Minnehaha Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Helen Celestia Peterson was born February 8, 1923 in Sioux Falls to parents Henry and Karen (Jonasvold) Peterson. She was baptized on Easter Sunday April 1, 1923 by Rev. Solem and confirmed October 24, 1937 at West Nidaros Lutheran Church.
Helen graduated from Lyons High School in 1942. She married Lars Danielson January 19, 1945 at Sturgis. They moved to Minnehaha County in 1946. Helen was employed at Minnehaha Country Club for many years.
Helen is survived by two nieces, two nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lars in 1982 and a brother Phillip Tonseth.
