Mable was born May 11, 1925 at Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents Edward and Olive May (Stephens) Allert. She moved at an early age with her family to San Fernando, CA. where she was raised and educated. Mable graduated from San Fernando High School. Mable continued living in California until moving to Winston, OR. in 1988. She moved to Dell Rapids, SD. in 1999. Mable was employed and retired as a Quality Control Supervisor in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
Grateful for having shared her life are a son, Roy Westman, Sagus, CA.; a daughter, Darlene (Dave) Hill, Glide, OR.; 3 grandsons, Norman (Lori) Sterkel, Carson City, NV.; Rodney (Claudine) Sterkel, Mesa, AZ; Dale Hill, Glide, OR.; 2 granddaughters, Angela (Rick) Mendenhall, Dell Rapids, SD.; Julie (Jeff) Christenson, Waupaca, WI.; 19 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters; and 3 brothers.
