Willard "Bill" Lebrun

Willard (Bill) Jon LeBrun was born on May 15th, 1954 to Ernest and Ivona LeBrun in Dell Rapids, South Dakota. He was a life-long resident of South Dakota, spending most of his years on the family farm near Colton, South Dakota. Bill graduated from Tri-Valley High School and worked on the farm raising livestock, corn and soybeans. He later moved to Spearfish and started LeBrun Trucking, which allowed him to see the country and meet all kinds of people.

He loved the land and he also loved the animals. He loved to spend time with his daughter Bree, his dog Cooper, and his cat Tigger. Bill had a huge heart and was a very generous person.

Willard Jon LeBrun passed away unexpectedly September 12, 2017 of a heart attack in Williston, North Dakota.

He is survived by his daughter, Bree Ivona LeBrun, his sister, Marylee Bennett, his nieces, Amy Andersen and Dana Bennett (Andy Haskell), two great nephews, Morgan and Brooks Andersen, his other family, Bert and Susie Burggraff and their children in addition to many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Ivona.
Bill will always have a place in our hearts and he will forever be missed.

Please join us for a memorial visitation from 5-7:00 PM Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Minnehaha Funeral Chapel, Colton. Memorial service will begin at 10:30 AM Thursday, September 21, 2017 at First Lutheran Church, Colton. Interment will be at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Colton.
