Trevor James Nussbaum

Trevor James Nussbaum was born October 7, 1989 to Andrea Nussbaum in Dell Rapids, SD. A majority of his childhood was spent in the Trent area, he loved to spend time at his Grandma and Grandpa’s house. Full of energy, he loved to go fishing, skateboarding and ride dirt bikes. One of his favorite things to do was to build things with Grandpa’s tools. He also liked working on dirt bikes and his truck, or car, or whatever vehicle he had at the time. He would spend hours fixing, painting, and modifying his vehicles. Trevor loved to spend time with family and friends and would do anything for those he loved.

He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Adley Jo, parents Andrea and Troy Scherff (Sioux Falls), Eric and Misty Dillon (Sioux Falls). Siblings Devlin, Wiley and Hayden Dillon (Sioux Falls), Aubrey (Larissa) Scherff (Trent) and Yancie Scherff (Brookings). Grandparents Gene and Dianne Nussbaum (Trent), Jo Ann Dillon (Sioux Falls) and Melvin and Sharon Scherff (Trent). His girlfriend Calla Duncan (Flandreau). Aunts and uncles: Tammy & Jason Dearduff (Volga), Laurie and John Hudgens (White), Jarrod and Karla Nussbaum (Richland) and Paul and Jill Scherff (Trent). Cousins Courtney, Eli, Nicolas, Cassidy and Adam. He was preceded in death by his cousin Zachary Nussbaum.

There will be a celebration of Trevor’s life on Friday, February 10th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Dell Rapids Legion 408 Orleans Ave, Dell Rapids.
