Annette Marie Lundquist, age 78, of Garretson, died on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at the Palisade Healthcare Community in Garretson. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM Thursday, January 26, 2017, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Garretson. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Wednesday, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Garretson.

Annette was born on July 23, 1938, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Victor and Florence (DeReu) Danielson. She grew up in Garretson and attended the Garretson School. After her education, she raised her family as a homemaker and later worked for Palisade Manor for 17 years. She later began working for Raven Industries in Sioux Falls. She retired from there after over 20 years of service in 2008. Annette married Harlow Lundquist on November 24, 1995, at Zion Lutheran Church in Garretson.

Annette was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and was active in the Garretson Senior Citizens. She enjoyed playing cards and taking road trips across the country. But most of all, Annette loved her family. She was always on top of their needs and was constantly baking them goodies.

Survivors include her husband, Harlow, Garretson; children: Brenda (Chuck) Loneman, Sioux Falls, Brian (Nancy) Engebretson, Yankton, Keith (Robin) Engebretson, Watertown, Lisa (Mike) Jorgensen, Watertown, and Nancy (Erik) Johnson, Lincoln, Nebraska; step-children: Lisa Archambeau, Sioux Falls, Lori (Robert) Wall, Seward, Nebraska, and Lana Hawkins, Garretson; seventeen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters: Deloris Lamb, Riverside, California, and Beverly (Frank) Ames, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; and a sister-in-law, Rachel Danielson, Garretson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Florence; grandson, Joshua Loneman; and a brother, Robert “Bud” Danielson.
