Fae Marie Rogen, 64, of Audubon, Minnesota, went to meet the Lord on Friday, June 3, 2016, at Rosewood on Broadway in Fargo, North Dakota. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Garretson, South Dakota. Interment will be in the Norway Cemetery, rural Garretson. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 pm Tuesday, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Garretson.

Fae Marie Zweep was born on May 12, 1952 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Donald and Flora (Voegeli) Zweep. She grew up in Garretson, graduated from Garretson High School in Garretson, South Dakota and attended Minnesota Technical College at Pipestone Minnesota. Fae married Ronald Rogen on 2-20-1972 at Zion Lutheran Church in Garretson, South Dakota. Ronald’s career took Fae to Garretson, SD, Duluth, MN, Willmar, MN, Aberdeen, SD, Grand Forks, ND, Fargo, ND, Albuquerque, NM, Highland Ranch, CO, and Gillette, WY retiring at Little Cormorant Lake, Audubon, MN in 2007 and wintering in Mesa, Arizona.

During Fae’s travels she enjoyed raising her family and working retail at several different companies at these locations. Fae enjoyed the journey, taking advantage of relocating, to explore different cultures, the outdoors, nature and meeting new friends. Fae went fishing, hiking, skiing, bird watching, kayaking and boating. Fae took pride in sewing, quilting, and crocheting blankets for her grandchildren. Fae attended many sporting and school events of her grandchildren and loved watching them progress through life.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 44 years, Ronald of Audubon, MN, children: Ryan (Rachel) of Fargo, ND, and Tony (Stacy) of West Fargo, ND; grandchildren: Emma, Blake, and Luke of Fargo, ND, and Jayden, Colton, Easton, and Ellie of West Fargo, ND; parents: Don and Flora Zweep, Brandon, SD; sisters: Renee (Ken) Wolf, Adrian, MN, Connie (Terry) Johnson, Garretson, SD, sister-in-law: Colleen Zweep, Sioux Falls, SD; father and mother In-Law: Alton and Beverly Rogen, Sherman, SD; brother and sisters-in-law: Bob and Diana Rogen, Jasper, MN, and Dick and Shally Rogen, Brandon, SD; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and brother, Jerry Zweep.
