Frank Immeker, age 93, of Colton, died on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at the Golden Living Center in Madison. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am Monday, July 27, 2015, at the First Reformed Church in Colton. Visitation with the family present will be from 5-7:00 pm Sunday, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Colton.

Frank was born on December 23, 1921, on a farm near Colton, to parents Ed and Alice (Reurink) Immeker. He married Catherine “Betty” Swier on February 6, 1947, at the Christian Reformed Church in Colton. They lived and farmed in the Colton Area for 25 years. Frank also worked for the Colton Lumber Yard for many years. Frank and Betty moved into Colton in 1972. Betty died on July 12, 2005. Frank was a member of the First Reformed Church in Colton. He enjoyed woodworking, playing cards, and spending time with his family.

Grateful for having shared his life are his children: Cindy (Dick) Johnson, Colton, Kathy (Virgil) Kock, Custer, and Jim (Lynne) Immeker, Keller, TX; eight grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty; son, Dennis; brothers, John and Edward Immeker; and sister, Carrie Farr.
