Glenn (Bud) J. Eliason, 93, of rural Renner died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.

Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM Monday, April 20, 2015 at East Side Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls. Visitation with the family present will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Baltic. Burial will be in the West Nidaros Lutheran Cemetery, Crooks.

Glenn was born on April 1, 1922 in Dell Rapids to the parents of Ole and Sophie (Aas) Eliason. He grew up on the family farm near Renner. He attended Trobak Country School and graduated from Baltic High School. He attended the Agriculture Program at South Dakota State College. He helped on the family farm after college until taking over the family farm.

Glenn married Murial Dokken on May 28, 1960 at East Side Lutheran Church. After their marriage, they continued to live on and operate the family farm.

Glenn loved to sing and was a member of the East Side Lutheran Church Choir and the Norse Glee Club.

Grateful for having shared his life is his wife Murial, Renner; son Carl (Pam) Eliason, Renner, daughter Ellen Eliason, Rushford, MN; four grandchildren, Logan and Lindsey Eliason; Kipp and Megan Schossow; his sister Margaret Norlin, Peoriz, AZ and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandson- Devin Eliason.
