Mary Dubbelde Wilson

Mary Dubbelde Wilson, age 70, passed away Saturday August 16, 2014 at the Opp Health and Rehabilitation Center in Opp, Alabama. She was born August 12, 1944 in Garretson, South Dakota to the late Frank and Eleanor Dubbelde.

Mary graduated from Garretson High School in 1962. After high school she attended nursing school in Pierre where she graduated in 1964. After nursing school Mary moved to Dallas, TX where she worked for Braniff Airlines as a flight hostess. After Braniff Airlines, Mary worked as a nurse for over 40 years while living in Texas. In 2009 she moved to Enterprise, AL to be closer to her grandchildren where she lived out the remainder of her life. Mary was a loving, caring and nurturing Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her youngest brother Daniel Dubbelde. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Gregg Wilson, of Enterprise, AL; son, Gregory Guy of Atlanta, GA; son Robbie Guy of Enterprise, AL; granddaughters Gray and Lauren Guy of Enterprise, AL. Mary is also survived by three brothers and eight sisters.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Minnehaha Funeral Home in Garretson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 am and continuing until service time.
