Bruce Nesheim, 63, of Brandon, died on Monday, July 28, 2014, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 31, 2014, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Garretson. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Bruce was born on January 25, 1951, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Sylvin and Patricia (Haley) Nesheim. He attended school in Sherman until the 5th grade, and then graduated from Garretson High School in 1969. Following his graduation, he served in the Air National Guard. Bruce enjoyed playing cards and cribbage.
Survivors include his mother, Patricia Callsen, Jasper, MN; siblings: Paul (Debb) Nesheim, Garretson, Deb Sorenson, Blaine, MN, and Craig Nesheim, Sioux Falls; six nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Sylvin, in 2000.
