Joey was born on September 17, 2004, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Jennifer Lynn Tomanio and Joseph Cavallaro III. In May 2013 he moved to Garretson and this past month completed the 3 rd grade at Garretson Elementary. Joey was a very smart and happy child. He loved school and could always be found reading in the library. He was adventurous and loved being out in the country. He loved parks and would always have rocks in his pockets and dresser drawers that he had collected outside.

Joey and his sister, Abby, were inseparable and would hardly be seen without each other. He was active in the Springdale 4-H club where he had a meat goat named Stanley. Joey loved God and had a strong catholic faith.
