Eva Marie Shea, 88, of Sioux Falls died October 10, 2012 at Southridge Healthcare Center in Sioux Falls.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Rosehill Cemetery, Parker, South Dakota.
Eva was born November 22, 1923 in Hartford Township, Minnehaha County, South Dakota to parents Chris and Margaret Urban. Eva was just one month shy of her 89th birthday. Eva was preceded by her husband Marvin in 1975 and her son Larry in 1977.
Eva is survived by her son, Robert, Parker, South Dakota, daughter, Diane Shea, Vancouver, British Columbia, son Arnold (Janet) Shea, San Diego, California and one grandson, Everet Shea, San Diego, California.
Eva died peacefully after recently going through a rapid decline in her health. She had worked at John Morrell and Company in Sioux Falls for 27 years before retiring. Eva had a tireless love of knitting, crocheting and all things outdoors. She loved showing her children the farmstead outside of Hartford where she was born.
