Bonnie Sundal, 87, of Baltic died Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Village in Sioux Falls, SD.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM Monday, October 15, 2012 at West Nidaros Lutheran Church, rural Crooks. Burial will be in the West Nidaros Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour before the service.
Bonnie was born July 7, 1925 east of Colton to parents Joseph and Alice (Hamre) Stageberg. She grew up in the Colton area and graduated from Lyons High School. She married Clayton Anderson in 1944 at Colton. They lived in Sioux Falls, Colton and Lyons.
Bonnie married Marvin Sundal June 11, 1962. They lived on the Sundal farm near Baltic.
Bonnie was an active member of the West Nidaros Lutheran Church, rural Crooks, where she taught Sunday School for 25 years.
Grateful for having shared her life are her children; Sue (Leonard) Lampl, Southport, North Carolina; Becky (Bruce) Kuemper, Sioux Falls; Jeff (Pam) Anderson, Chicago, Illinois; Tami (Todd) Milliken, Casper, Wyoming; Todd (Dana) Sundal, Baltic; Scott (Becca) Sundal, Atlanta, Georgia; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a brother, Lowell Stageberg, Colton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin on April 20, 2008, her parents, Joseph and Alice Stageberg; brothers, Harris and Russ Stageberg; sister, Lorraine Frost and a grandson, Lucas Sundal.
