Nancy Ann Mulder, age 50, of Crooks, died on Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Memorial services will begin at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Benton Lutheran Church, rural Crooks. Memorial visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. Friday at the church.
Nancy was born on May 14, 1961 in Sioux City, Iowa. She was adopted by Dean and June (Ellwanger) Bowers. She grew up in Humboldt, Iowa and Storm Lake, Iowa. She graduated from Storm Lake High School and then attended the University of Northern Iowa. Nancy married Wade Mulder on October 10, 1998 at Benton Lutheran Church. Following their marriage, they lived in Crooks. Nancy worked as a counselor at the Carroll Institute in Sioux Falls. She enjoyed walking her dog and growing flowers.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Wade of Crooks; a son, Garrison, at home; mother, June Bowers of Storm Lake, Iowa; and a brother, Bruce Bowers of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her father.
