Like her parents, Gladys was a hard worker. She was employed by Bethany Nursing Home and the Salvation Army for many years. Gladys was a member of First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls where she sang in two choirs and was a church circle member.
Gladys was a very special aunt to her many nieces and nephews, opening her home to them during family vacations and always remembered their birthdays. She loved to send greeting cards to family and friends and always included many colorful stickers.
Grateful for having shared her life are sisters, Ada Yakal, Maplewood, MN and Bertha May (Clyde) Tyler, Forest Lake, MN; brother, David (Kathy) Oyen, Kalispell, MT; sister-in-law, Joanne(Bob Rick)Oyen, Woodbury, MN; and many other relatives and dear friends.
