Dorothy Wehde, 65, of Baltic died suddenly Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Baltic. Dorothy wished that there be no other services.
Dorothy was born February 24, 1946 in Sioux Falls to parents John and Verna Trigg and later married Jerry Wehde of Baltic.
Dorothy is survived by Jerry Wehde, Baltic, and her children, Dawn Wehde, Albuquerque, NM; Trace and his wife Lauren-Meyer Wehde, Vancouver, WA; Jon Wehde and his fiance’ Amy Peterson, Baltic; and grandchildren Julian Wehde, Flora Wehde, Kendrick Voigt-Wehde and Jordynynn Wehde, and a brother, Kenneth Trigg, Pierre.
Dorothy was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother; she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed farming and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Verna Trigg.
