Cindy Lou Geppert, 51, of Crooks, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at Sanford Health.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, March 5, 2011 at St. George Catholic Church, Hartford. Burial will be in the Benton Cemetery, rural Crooks. Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 to 7:30 PM Friday at St. George Catholic Church in Hartford.
Cindy Lou Miller was born January 31, 1960 in Sioux Falls. She grew up in Sioux Falls and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1978. She married Mike Geppert July 7, 1979 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sioux Falls. She worked at Anderson’s Café from 1975 to 1989 and worked as a dietician supervisor at Sanford Health from 1989 to 2011.
Cindy was head of concessions at the Crooks Rodeo, loved various trail rides, was a Vikings fan, and enjoyed cooking, baking with the girls and spending time at home. She truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends and adored her granddaughters.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Mike, Crooks; a daughter, Teresa Geppert, Crooks; a son, Matt Geppert, Crooks; granddaughters, Kenzie and Kaylee Morehead; her father and mother in law, Bill and Agnes Geppert, Alexandria; a sister, Kristy (Mike Petterson) Spoonemore, Sioux Falls; brothers, Randy (Kim) Miller, Sioux Falls; Rock (Tammy) Miller, Scotland; Rick (Pam) Miller, Brandon; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Tommy.
