Dorothy Darlene Albertson

Dorothy Darlene (Urben) Nesheim Albertson, 85, of Renner died Monday, February 14, 2011 at Terrace Manor in Dell Rapids.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Willow Creek Lutheran Church, rural Dell Rapids. Burial will be in the Willow Creek Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be from 6-8:00 PM Tuesday, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Baltic.
Dorothy was born June 5, 1925 near Worthing to parents Fred and Grace (Palmer) Urben. She grew up near Worthing and graduated from Worthing High School. Dorothy married Vernal Nesheim August 28, 1947. After their marriage they lived in Renner. Vernal died February 2, 1971. She then worked at Luther Manor in Sioux Falls. Dorothy later married Arnolf Albertson November 16, 1974. After their marriage they continued to live in Renner. Dorothy moved to Terrace Manor on December 9, 2009.
Survivors include her husband, Arnolf, Terrace Manor; a brother, Eugene (Marlene) Urben, Sioux Falls; step children, Carol (Tom) Kessinger, Orlen (Trish) Albertson, and Arlyce Albertson, all of Sioux Falls; four step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant sisters.
