Lilly Wilson, 100, of Sioux Falls died Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Center in Sioux Falls.
Funeral services will begin at 11:30 AM Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Baltic. Visitation will begin an hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the East Nidaros Cemetery, rural Baltic.
Lilly was born June 21, 1910 at Renner to parents Ole T. and Lena (Oyan) Nessan. She grew up near Renner and attended the Eggers Country School. Lilly married Jack Wilson in 1933 in Sioux Falls. After their marriage they lived near Renner until moving to Sioux Falls. Lilly worked in the kitchen and as a cashier at McKennan Hospital for several years. Jack died in 1964.
Lilly was a member of the first confirmation class at Renner Lutheran Church and was a member of First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.
Grateful for having shared her life are her four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, her daughters, LaBelle Brende and Karen Pierret, a brother and two sisters.
